There are a number of choirs which lead our congregation in worship throughout the church year.

Chancel Choir

This is our "sanctuary" 4-part choir that sings in worship every Sunday during the 10:40 service. A wide variety of anthems are sung, as well as three special services (cantatas, musicals or concerts) during the year. Past works include; Handel's Messiah, Travis Cottrell's "O Great Redeemer", Brooklyn Tabernacle Choir "Live Again", A Concert of John Rutter Music, and many others. Rehearsals are Wednesday evenings at 7:00 p.m. There are no rehearsals in July. Fellowship opportunities happen several times during the year. We are a very special family!

Praise Bands

These bands are "rock-style" and accompany "The Journey" service and our youth choir.

Revolution

Any youth in grades 7-12 has an incredible opportunity to be a part of the CPC Revolution Team. They are comprised of a choir, drama team and praise band. The fall/winter season is typically spent on anthems that are presented about once a month in worship. The rest of the year is spent preparing a musical that goes "on the road." Revolution tours have taken the choir to places such as Tampa, Atlanta, Chicago, Louisville, Dallas, Panama City Beach, Minneapolis, and lots of other places. This is one of CPC's biggest ministry events of the year. Rehearsals are Sunday afternoons at 4:00 from August to March.

The Proclaimers

This choir, for young people in grades 4-6, is part of our LOGOS ministry on Wednesdays during the school year. Their rehearsal time is 5:00. They sing in worship once a month from September to March and usually present at least one musical at our Lighthouse each year.

God's Kids Choir

This choir, for grades 1-3, is also a part of CPC's LOGOS ministry. They meet Wednesdays at 6:20 and sing in worship once a month. God's Kids Choir usually presents one musical per year.

Handbell Choir

What a deal! This is a chance to play an instrument that never goes out of tune! The Handbell Choir meets Wednesday evenings. They play music that is easy to medium in difficulty level. No experience is required, just a desire to ring for the Lord!
