The Drama Ministry at CPC is seasonal, yet an ongoing part of our church. There is one "Broadway" style production per summer. Past productions include: Godspell, The Trip to Bountiful, Steel Magnolias, Arsenic and Old Lace, and others. There are also special worship services that involve drama. Our junior high Logos ministry sometimes involves classes in drama and interpretive movement as well.

Our senior high youth (grades 9-12) are invited to audition for Acts of God ministry team that leads in the worship through mime, sign language and dramatic dialogue. Some events include weekend tours, performing at local youth fellowships and accompanying the Youth Choir on their tour. This group has performed at two Cumberland Presbyterian General Assemblies (1997, 2000). The topics of their "plays" are generally youth oriented, although this group ministers to all ages. All members of this group are active in Youth Choir. Tryouts and interviews are held each August Rehearsals are Sunday evenings during the school year.
