Christian EducationPurpose:
That all persons become aware of God through His self-disclosure, especially His redeeming love in Jesus Christ, and that all persons respond in faith and love, that they may know who they are and what their human situation means, grow as children of God rooted in the Christian community, live in the spirit of God in every relationship, fulfill their common discipleship in the world, and abide in the Christian hope. As Christian Educators we strive to provide new opportunities for learning and growth, foster renewal of commitment, and create a climate conducive to Christian learning and growth in spirituality and faith. The church and the family have a joint responsibility for providing Christian Education, to work together to achieve greatest effectiveness. We believe that the word of God is a lamp under our feet and a light unto our path, and that through our Sunday schools and other educational opportunities, our churches may experience renewal of purpose and revival of mission. Children's Ministry
Throughout the year special trips and events are planned for children in 1st through 6th grades. During the fall and spring school breaks, these groups will usually take a fun day trip to Jackson, Memphis, Nashville, or even St. Louis. Mission opportunities and service projects are also a part of this special ministry. Parents and grandparents are always welcomed to participate. LOGOS
