Rev. Dr. Larry A. Blakeburn
Senior Pastor

The Rev. Dr. Larry A. Blakeburn became senior pastor of First Cumberland Presbyterian Church on August 1, 2001. Prior to coming to Dyersburg, Dr. Blakeburn was president of Memphis Theological Seminary. He has over 25 years of pastoral experience, and has served churches in Bolivar, TN, Ft. Worth, TX and Nashville, TN. Larry was in the United States Marine Corps and served in Vietnam, where he was awarded the Vietnamese Cross of Gallantry. He graduated from Bethel College in McKenzie, TN (1974), and later earned a Master of Divinity degree (1979), and Doctor of Ministry degree (1994) from Memphis Theological Seminary. Larry and his wife Judy have three children and three grandchildren. Judy is the art teacher at Dyersburg Intermediate School.







Annetta Camp
Associate Pastor

Annetta O’Dell Camp became the Minister of Christian Education of First Cumberland Presbyterian Church on June 1, 2003. She graduated from Memphis State University in 1975 and taught Special Education for 28 years in Tennessee and Florida. A fourth generation elder in the Cumberland Presbyterian Church, Annetta heard the call to ordained ministry in the summer of 2002 and received a Master of Divinity degree at Memphis Theological Seminary in December 2007. She was ordained and installed as Associate Pastor on March 9, 2008. Annetta and her husband Jack have two boys and live on her family farm just south of Dyer County.








Brad Sanko
Minister of Music

Brad Sanko has served as Minister of Music at Dyersburg First Cumberland Presbyterian Church since April, 1995. During these years, Brad has directed choirs of all ages and started new worship ministries such as the Youth Choir tour, the CPC Acts of God and Wednesday Night Praise. He believes strongly that blended music, contemporary and traditional, is a key to an active, worshipping congregation. A native of Atlanta, Georgia, he came to know Jesus Christ the summer after his senior year of high school and felt called to music ministry one year later. Brad holds a B.A. in Church Music from Lee University in Cleveland, Tennessee. He lives in Dyersburg with his wife and two children.








Matt Tyler
Minister of Youth

Matt Tyler began serving as the Minister of Youth of First Cumberland Presbyterian Church on February 1, 2001. Prior to coming Dyersburg, Matt was the Youth Pastor at Beaver Creek Cumberland Presbyterian Church in Knoxville, Tennessee. He has served as the chairperson for the West Tennessee Presbytery Youth Ministry Planning Council since 2003. Matt also served on the design team for the 2001 Presbyterian Youth Triennium held at Purdue University. He has over 12 years of youth ministry experience. Matt graduated from Eastern Illinois University in Charleston, Illinois in 1990 with his Bachelor of Science in Marketing and again in 1992 with his Masters of Business Administration. Matt grew up in the Fairfield Cumberland Presbyterian in Fairfield, Illinois, where he accepted Christ into his heart on March 26, 1978. Matt and his wife Carolyn have three boys. Carolyn is a math teacher at Dyer County High School.
