Youth Ministry
Youth ministry at Dyersburg Cumberland Presbyterian Church is the church's whole ministry to, with, and by young people. It is holistic in that it takes into account all aspects of a young person's life and his/her relationship with God and the church. Young people grow and mature in their faith as they participate in the educational programs and other ministries of the church.
Their gifts are cultivated, nourished, and utilized through active involvement in the total church life -- worship, education, fellowship, outreach and stewardship. The primary task of the youth ministry at Dyersburg Cumberland Presbyterian Church is to equip young people to affirm, give witness to, and live out a faith founded on the lordship of Jesus Christ.
Jr. High and High Club LOGOS
Important Information
* Starting date is August 15.* Both Jr. High and High Club LOGOS meet on the same dates, except during test weeks (Sept. 26 & Mar. 5), when the High Club will NOT.
* We will not have LOGOS during the school fall and spring break weeks.
* We will follow the school procedure for inclement weather. If school closes early or is closed for the day we will NOT meet.
* The cost for each LOGOS participant is $40 per semester (not to exceed $160 per family per year).
* Scholarships are available.
* Parents are responsible for arranging for the food at least one evening each semester during the LOGOS year (unless all dates are filled.) This involves preparing and serving the dinner and cleaning up afterwards.
